CASA of Johnson County would like to welcome one of our long time volunteers and part time employees, Joyce Petty, as a full time member of our staff. Joyce agreed to come on board in May as a Casework Manager. Joyce brings a lot of experience and grit to the office and we are glad to have her.
Pat McCall is still working part time as a Casework Manager. She has been assigned all of the PMC cases and is the main point of contact for them. She is doing an excellent job checking on and visiting all of our PMC kids. Come by the office and check out her bulletin board for some great pictures and artwork from the kids.
Arthur Rangel joined our staff in January as a Casework Manager. Arthur has been a volunteer for about a year and appreciates the opportunity to join the staff. He brings to our organization an excellent sense of humor and a great passion for the kids we serve. He is a people person and loves to interface with the volunteers. He lives in Burleson and has two adult children.
Amy Millender joined our staff in March as a new Casework Manager. She worked for CPS in both Dallas and Johnson counties for 16 years and brings a lot of experience with her to CASA. Amy has a great deal of knowledge about child abuse, CPS, the court system, the children's advocacy center and social work. Amy is a Crowley High School alumni and a graduate from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She also has her license in Texas as a social worker. Amy is a single Mom with three children, 6, 9 and 12 years old, so she doesn't have a lot of free time! She resides in Cleburne.
Bonnie Rumsey joined our staff at the end of May as the part time receptionist and Administrative Assistant. She works part time for CASA and part time for the United Way (that's why she has so many phones on her desk!). Bonnie is a graduate of Cleburne High School and is very organized and has experience with bookkeeping, sales and great interpersonal skills. She is married with two adult children and two grandchildren. They reside in Egan.
Lauri Ann Neill joined our staff in August as a Communication Specialist (media/PR person). She graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing. She is the oldest of three and has one brother and one sister. Lauri Ann was born in Fort Worth and graduated from Lake County Christian High School. She was on the cross country track team both in HS and college. In her free time, Lauri Ann loves to travel and take pictures. She resides in Fort Worth.
If you have not done so, please come by and meet all of our new employees and visit with the old employees!
