CASA Sporting Clays Charity Shoot

The 7^th Annual "Aiming High For Kids" Sporting Clays Charity Shoot benefiting CASA of Johnson County will be Friday, April 9th. The charity shoot  will be held at Alpine Shooting Range in Ft. Worth, Texas. Come make a difference in an abused or neglected child's life by supporting CASA of Johnson County and coming out to shoot as many clay pigeons as you can.  Experts and novices alike will enjoy this day of clay shooting.  Included in the entry fee this year will be the well known breakfast burritos we all love, furnished by Wal-Mart Distribution Center, a delicious lunch prepared by the Halliburton Cook Team, a T-Shirt, and many other prizes and drawings.  These fees DO NOT include shotgun shells, which will need to be provided by each team or shooter (100 rounds of 7 1/2 shot or smaller is needed for shoot, plus any practice or 5 Stand rounds).

Flights are first-come first-serve and limited to 28 teams per flight!  Team spaces are currently available but, register early to secure your slot!

Participants will be divided into morning and afternoon flights. The Modified Lewis Class of Scoring will be used to determine all awards. Many fantastic prizes will be awarded throughout the tournament.  Prizes will be given to the 1^st and 2^nd place teams in each flight, as well as the name of one person from each team will be drawn to win a shotgun or prize valued at a minimum of $250!

The "Aiming High For Kids" Sporting Clays Charity Shoot is the largest fundraiser for CASA, which is a non-profit organization offering services to abused and neglected children in Johnson County. CASA of Johnson County fosters volunteers to protect the best interests of abused and neglected children, and advocate in the court system for family reunification or placement in an environment that is safe, nurturing and permanent.

CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocate. A CASA volunteer is someone who speaks for the best interest of abused and neglected children placed in protective care.  For more information about the program please contact our office.
